Beijing Chenao Coffee Company Ltd (BCCCL) is a joint venture partnership between the Beijing North Star Industrial Group (BNSIG) and the Uganda Coffee Development Authority. (UCDA).

BCCCL was established in January 2002 following an agreement between the President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the President of the People’s Republic of China President Hu Jintao to foster economic cooperation and friendship between Uganda and the People’s Republic of China through mutually beneficial coffee trade.

This is the first Sino-African coffee project in China that aims at providing market access to value added products from the African continent and Uganda as Africa’s leading coffee producer.
